Holograph Manuscript of his Poem, "Song of the Bowmen"

One sheet, approximately 4 x 7”; written on recto and verso. Likely a fair copy, but apparently contemporary, written for his sister Caroline. Titled in the author’s hand, “The Song of the Bowmen (for the White Company). The first line is always sung by the old bowman, and the rest come in like a pack of wolves.” Followed by four verses, each seven lines, with the author’s notation at the end, “How’s that?” With a signed letter from Doyle’s niece noting that “This copy of ‘The Song of the Bowman’ was written out by my Uncle, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, for his sister, Caroline Doyle.”.
