Publisher’s cloth; minor foxing; near fine in the rare dust jacket, which has some browning, minor wear, and a rubbed spot with slight tearing at the bottom of the front panel, affecting two letters in the price. As the title suggests, poetry of religious interest, as are the three illustrations. The author, an ardent Irish nationalist, came to America for a period following the Irish Civil War, pioneering Irish studies at Fordham University. Not to be confused with the author of The Power of Myth. All books described as first editions are first printings unless otherwise noted.
