New York: Limited Editions Club, 1934. First Edition with these illustrations by Picasso, consisting of numerous drawings in the text and six original etchings. One of 1500 numbered copies signed by the artist (the play’s author had long been unavailable). A fine copy in the publisher’s cardboard slipcase and chemise (some cracking and minor wear of the slipcase; overall very good. All books described as first editions are first printings unless otherwise noted.
