Undated, probably 1900 - 1905. Comprising some 10 pages of holograph notes, one of which concerns Sir Walter Scott, one on Johnson, and one on Meredith, all in Doyle’s distinctive, readable hand. In addition, there are over 36 pages of corrected typescript, as well as carbon copies. Included in this lot are five additional carbon typescripts on George Meredith, and literature. Aside from the minor expected tears, spotting, dog-eared pages and smudges, in presentable condition. All books described as first editions are first printings unless otherwise noted.
