Some Papers by Man Ray in Connection With his Exposition December 1948

Minor wear; just shy of fine. Laid into this copy is the one sheet (folded to make four pages) catalogue of the exhibition. This short-lived gallery devoted itself to a handful of surrealists, and this one-man show was an important mark in the artist’s later career. The Philadelphia born Ray spent most of his life in Paris, but during the war and occupation, found refuge in California.
