A Modest Archive of Short Holograph Notes to an Editor at Grove Press

Writing from Paris from 1976 - 1980, seven pieces, six with their original envelopes addressed by Beckett. While five concern orders for copies of his works, as well as their contents, two regard a proposed interview with Herbert Mitgang. presumably for the New York Times. Mitgang contributed a short account to the Times recalling his 1981 meeting with Beckett in a Paris cafe. All are in his hand, signed as “Sam.” The envelopes are sliced open, cancelled postage intact.
