A Further Range
New York: Henry Holt, 1936. Later printing. Spine a little sunned, else fine in a very good dust jacket with some chipping at the top and the bottom of the spine. Signed on the front flyleaf, “Robert Frost/ Amherst.” On the half-title, Frost has penned 6 lines from “The Lone Striker,” the first poem in the volume, “He knew another place a wood/ And in it tall as trees were cliffs/ And if he stood on one of these/ ‘Twould be among the tops of trees/ Their upper branches round him wreathing/ Their breathing mingled with his breathing. Robert Frost/ For Jean L. Sykes/ November 13 1937.”.
