Approximately 24 x 18”, crayon and pastel on paper, appearing in slightly different form in the December, 1996 issue of GQ for “Fashion Plates.” Many of this series were collected in Sorel’s Unauthorized Portraits (1997). Coward is depicted in his dressing gown, casually elegant, cigarette in hand, drinking coffee amid art deco objects. Signed by Sorel, and inscribed by him again in 1997. Excellent condition.
