Plaster Bust of Laura Ingalls Wilder

An older Wilder holds a copy of The Little House on the Prairie. Her name is inscribed on the integral base, and “Kroll” is cast on its back. Undated, but likely from the 1950s -1970s; an Ohio high school library’s name is marked on the bottom of the base, confirming the presumption that these were primarily produced for school libraries and reading rooms. Approximately 13” high x 9” wide x 6” deep, and weighing nearly 7 pounds; painted hollow plaster; hole at the back of her arm, some scratches and chips, but overall very good.
