The pencil drawing is attached at the top onto a larger mount, approximately 6 x 8 1/2,” noted on the bottom margin “Chapter 7.” The bottom edge of the mat is penciled “from Tibby’s Venture by Phyllis Cote.” The verso of the mount is inscribed in crayon “Please return to Jr. Books. Doubleday Doran. 14 W. 49 St., NYC.” Minor mat browning; overall in excellent condition.
