Bound Volume of Sheet Music

Ten pieces bound in paper covered boards with a calf spine; some wear and foxing; very good. Printed title on the front board: “Pawtucket [Rhode Island] Social Glee Club.” These pieces were published in Boston, Philadelphia and New York, probably in the 1830s. Two pieces, “The Light Cigar” and “Corn Cobs” are bound with their pictorial front wrappers. One of the more interesting pieces is the politically satiric “King Andrew, as sung at the Salem Whig Festival, August, 1834.”.
