Presumed Second American Edition; preceded by an edition of 50 copies issued at Princeton to secure American copyright, almost certainly printed as a reaction to the publishers of this edition informing Sylvia Beach of their intention to issue the book. There were 103 copies printed, of which 100 were numbered. Threatened with legal action, almost all copies were given away by the well-meaning pirate publishers . Only light wear; about fine.
