In a custom cloth clamshell box with a one page holograph letter (unsigned) to his secretary. Over 75 words, Sun Valley, undated but with the original envelope postmarked 1940; with his name in ink above the hotel’s on the front left-hand corner. Fields notes that the gin and vermouth is adequate. All books described as first editions are first printings unless otherwise noted.
