Green Hills of AfricaNew York: Scribner’s, 1935. Later printing of the original edition. Inscribed by the author, “To James K. McGuinness with best regards, Ernest Hemingway.” The recipient, a noted screenwriter, created the original story for A Night at the Opera, wrote the screenplay for Tarzan and His Mate, and all, or part of six films directed by John Ford, including the great Western Rio Grande. Nearly a fine copy, without the usual fading, in an unfaded example of the dust jacket with minor rubbing and wear.
